Privacy

• Account details — your email address, display name and organization. Name and organization appear as the preparer on exported documents.
• Your work — inquiry titles and proposal text, uploaded documents and the text extracted from them, lifecycle stage, evidence you accept, premier responses, rulings and reconsideration rounds.
• Operational records — routine technical logs needed to keep the service running and secure.

Please do not upload personal information about identifiable individuals unless it is genuinely necessary for the policy/program question, and never upload health, financial or other sensitive records about a person who has not consented.

Your rows are scoped to your own account in the database, so no other user of the tool can read your inquiries, documents or rulings. Uploaded files are stored in access-controlled storage readable only by their owner.

• Hosting and database — the platform that runs this application and stores its data.
• AI model providers — the text you submit, and the evidence you accept, are sent to model providers to generate premier analysis and the ruling. Dictated audio is sent for transcription and is not retained afterwards.
• Web and open-data search — search terms you enter in the evidence step are sent to a search provider and to public Ontario data services.

These providers process the information on our behalf to deliver the feature you asked for. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your inquiries to advertise to you.

Your inquiries and rulings are kept so you can reopen and reconsider them, until you delete them or ask for your account to be removed. Deleting an account removes its profile, inquiries, documents and rulings.

• Ask for a copy of the information held about you.
• Ask for a correction to your name or organization.
• Ask for your account and its contents to be deleted.
• Withdraw consent by stopping use of the service and requesting deletion.

Requests go to legal@themarcusinstitute.ca. If you are using the tool inside a public-sector organization, your own privacy office may also have requirements under Ontario's freedom of information and privacy legislation — follow those as well.

The site stores a sign-in session in your browser, and remembers your email address on this device only if you ask it to. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking.
